There’s a picture of me, aged 8, posing in front of the Eiffel Tower, Paris on holiday with my parents. I don’t have it but I remember it at mum and dad’s house. It was a carefree picture, full of joy. I visited again as a teenager, as a young adult and as a young married woman. I love Paris and I loved sharing memories there with Sam and my family. So sad to wake up to news of so many deaths, destruction and terror there over night but still hopeful to be able to take my girls there one day. In the meantime, Paris is in my prayers and thoughts. Terror will never win.
